About Me |
I attended Saints 1972-1977. That was an interesting time at Saints and in Guyana. While I was there the school became co-educational, the school farm was started and the workshop established. I also recall being a member of the National Cadet Corps and going to the Sports Ground near the seawall for athletics and soccer. I migrated from Guyana in 1987, going firstly to Jamaica, and later to the USA where in May 2004 I graduated with a PhD in International Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. I then moved to New York and currently live in the National Capital Region of Canada. I have over fifteen (15) years of experience working on issues related to sustainable development. My experience spans the Caribbean and North America where I consult on Business Development and Renewable Energy. I have also taught part-time in public school districts in Mississippi and New York. I volunteer with Partners of the Americas, the Sierra Club, and the Saint Stanislaus College Alumni Associations, working on Agritourism, Community Tourism, Environmentally Sound Waste Management, and Renewable Energy. |

Advice To Students |
My advice to students is that you should pay attention to your teachers, do your homework right away, and balance your study and classroom time with time for outdoor sports and activities. Also volunteer to help advance the things you like, and be friendly to the environment.

Why the Alumni Association is important to me |
The Alumni Association is important to me because I have happy memories of Saints and the Alumni Association is a great vehicle for me to help enable Saints to continue to provide excellent education to students as well as maintain links with other Saints alumni.
